Flickr photo page redesign
Six years in the making, the recently unveiled flickr photo page redesign may seem very subtle at first glance. Flickr just released preview pages for signed-in members which are on view before the redesign is rolled out. We’ll need some time to play around with the new functionality and tweaked layout. We’re still getting used to all the trends for geo-location integration creeping into our favorite sites.
“We’ve been keen to build a better showcase for your photos for some time. Your photos – everyday captures and extraordinary sightings, local scenes and exotic moments – are central to our DNA because they reflect your individual stories. With the new photo experience, you can discover, share and organize your visual stories in a new and improved way…” —flickr blog
Flickr has added a couple extra resource sections devoted to the design.
