It’s funny…its been years since I’ve seen images of colored marbles. But in initial comps for Malcolm Gladwell’s new book Outliers, they were used in a clever way to illustrate the concept of being an outlier. In the end, the color marbles were replaced with black marbles (though not until after the catalog printed). But its still ingrained in my mind (as are the childhood memories associated with the little round toy)
